5 promises to my clients
1. Project Management is subordinate to technology development. Not the other way around. Good project management will facilitate and create headspace for teams to develop the technology.
2. I work within the company, ideally on a project to demonstrate a way of working. I will train, demonstrate, coach, and support until your project managers feel confident in the new way of working.
3. Workshops will be used a lot, on-site or remotely, with different groups of employees of all levels, to make the most of their knowledge and create buy-in for the changes.
4. No new software platforms. You already have something in place, and if not, MS excel has enough functionality to give a clear picture, routinely, as a starting point! Once everyone is working in the new routines we can explore ways to automate and grow towards a mature PM system.
5. My assignments are no longer than 3 months, after that, we all lose momentum.
